The Northeast Association of State Transportation Officials (NASTO) 2019 Annual Conference was held July 8 – 10, 2019 at the Chase Center on the Riverfront in Wilmington, Delaware.

Who Attends

NASTO brings together representatives from the state transportation departments of the Northeastern United States and the Canadian provinces of Ontario and Quebec. These are high level decision makers including Secretaries, Commissioners, and their staff. Also in attendance are representatives from FHWA, AASHTO, and other local, regional and national government agencies. This annual event continues to draw over 300 participants.

Attendee Registration

Attendee registration has closed; this event has passed. Registration options and pricing for the 2019 Conference are outlined below.

What’s Included:

• Full conference registration includes: access to Monday night’s Welcome Celebration at the Queen Theater; Tuesday breakfast, sessions, Keynote Luncheon, breaks, and dinner at the DuPont Country Club; and Wednesday breakfast, sessions, and lunch.
• Tuesday Only registration includes: conference giveaways, access to Tuesday breakfast, sessions, Keynote Luncheon, breaks, and dinner at the DuPont Country Club.
• Wednesday Only registration includes: conference giveaways, access to Wednesday breakfast, sessions, and lunch.
• Guest Registration includes: tickets for the Monday evening Welcome Celebration at the Queen Theater, and Tuesday dinner at the DuPont Country Club.

Full Coverage: The NASTO Full Coverage entitlement is reserved for NASTO State DOT’s only. If you are eligible for this entitlement, please review the policies and follow the instructions to ensure your reimbursement is approved.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations received prior to June 21, 2019 will be refundable less a $50 administrative fee. Cancellations received after June 21, 2019 will not be refunded but substitutions will be allowed.

Area Information & Overnight Accommodations

The host hotel for the NASTO Conference was the Westin Wilmington Hotel (818 Shipyard Drive, Wilmington, DE). The group rate for conference participants was $189/night plus tax. The Westin is adjacent to the Chase Center where conference events will be held.

The overflow hotel is the Sheraton Suites Wilmington Downtown (22 Delaware Avenue, Wilmington, DE). The group rate for conference participants was $169/night plus tax. Ongoing shuttle service was provided from the Sheraton Suites to the Chase Center throughout all days of the conference.

Monday, July 8: 

• 11:30am pick-up at the Sheraton/drop off at Chase Center – loops every 30-minutes until 5:30pm.

Tuesday, July 9: 

• 7:00am pick-up at the Sheraton/drop off at Chase Center – loops every 30-minutes until 9:00am.
• 4:00pm pick-up at Chase Center/drop off at the Sheraton – loops every 30-minutes until 5:30pm.

Wednesday, July 10: 

• 7:30am pick-up at the Sheraton/drop off at Chase Center – loops every 30-minutes until 9:00am.
• 11:00am pick-up at Chase Center/drop off at the Sheraton – loops every 30-minutes until 1:00pm.
