The State of Maine Department of Transportation invites you to attend the 2013 NASTO Conference held June 9 – 11 at the Marriott Sable Oaks in South Portland, Maine. This year’s theme is “Working for the Customer” and will include session topics to focus on communication, business to business and meeting customer expectations. Apart from the sessions, we have two exciting dining opportunities planned. Sunday evening’s reception will be at Portland’s Ocean Gateway Marine Terminal located on the ocean and a very short walk to the “Old Port” with shops and pubs. Monday’s dinner is at the Harasseeket Inn and will be an old fashion lobster bake including whole Maine lobsters, New England clam chowder, baked beans, BBQ chicken and countless other side dishes. The Inn is in Freeport and is across the street from LL Bean. Transportation to and from both venues has been arranged, as well as later return options if you want to see the sites after.
WHO ATTENDS:
NASTO brings together representatives from the state transportation departments of the Northeastern United States and the Canadian provinces of Ontario and Quebec. This annual event continues to draw over 200 participants including NASTO members.
HIGHLIGHTS:
Highlights of the event include plenary sessions such as legislative updates, keynote speaker, Sunday Welcome Reception, Monday Reception and Dinner, and plenty of social and networking opportunities.

REGISTRATION:
Registration for NASTO 2013 is OPEN! Register by May 20th to save. Conference registration includes plenary sessions, keynote address, Sunday evening Welcome Reception, Monday evening reception and dinner, and breakfast, lunch and refreshment breaks on Monday and Tuesday.

GOLF TOURNAMENT:
Arriving early to NASTO 2013? Join us at the Marriott Sable Oaks Golf Course on Saturday, June 8th for a BBQ (12:00 pm) and Shotgun Golf Tournament (2:30 pm)! Tickets are $50 /person which includes use of a cart. Golf sponsors play for free! Advance reservations required.
